Internal Sales Executive

Location: Henlow, Bedfordshire - Salary: £18-25,000 Basic with OTE

Job Role: Responsible for handling all incoming Sales Enquiries and Existing customers. Liasing with the internal purchasing and technical departments to ensure customer order and service level fulfillment.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Answer incoming email and telephone Sales Enquiries.
  • Generate and manage quotations for incoming enquiries.
  • Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally initial calls to pre-targeted prospects).
  • Keep the internal CRM database up to date with existing and new prospect contact and sales data.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, post and telephone.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal staff.
  • Develop ideas and create offers for email and marketing to major accounts by product.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information to improve Sales.
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys during the course of the daily job.
  • Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for target market.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a sales or telesales role.
  • Knowledge of Server and Storage Technologies.
  • Has some commercial and business awareness.
  • Can demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and with external clients.
  • Can provide evidence of working in a target related environment.
  • Can demonstrate their ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations.
  • Good at building customer relationships.

Experience: Has a minimum of 1 years experience in the IT Sales Industry.

Skills Required:

  • Telesales skills.
  • Understands the sales process.
  • Can use both Word and Excel.
  • Ability to demonstrate Interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation and Storage Technologies.
  • Be able to Drive with Full Driving License.
  • Smart and Presentable.

Technical Engineer

Location: Henlow, Bedfordshire - Salary: £17-20,000 Dependant on Experience

Job Role: Responsible for handling all incoming technical support enquiries and pre-sales technical enquiries.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Answer incoming email and telephone technical enquiries.
  • Test equipment before shipping to customers.
  • Plan and carry out internal testing on new products.
  • Liase with manufacturers and suppliers on technical issues and new product launches.
  • Respond to and follow up technical enquiries by email, post and telephone.
  • Maintain and develop existing products and software.
  • Attend customer site to provide hardware and software maintenance or provide training.
  • Provide pre sales technical visits and internal support to the Sales department.
  • Develop ideas and create new products and testing procedures for the Company.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information to improve product reliability.
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys during the course of the daily job in order to improve and develop products.
  • Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for the Companies target market.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a Technical Support role.
  • Knowledge of Server, Virtualisation and Storage Technologies.
  • Has some commercial and business awareness.
  • Can demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and with external clients.
  • Can provide evidence of working in a deadline based environment.
  • Can demonstrate their ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations.
  • Good at building customer relationships.

Experience: Has a minimum of 1 years experience in the IT Sales Industry.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of Server, Storage and Virtulisation Hardware.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Basic Networking Infrastructure skills.
  • Knowledge of Solaris OS desirable.
  • Understanding of working to deadlines.
  • Understanding of Customers SLA requirements.
  • Can use both Word and Excel.
  • Ability to demonstrate Interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Be able to Drive with Full Driving License.
  • Smart and Presentable.
